I was really excited about

I was really excited about the personalized lessons for my daughter, but it's been a mess. The tutor canceled twice without any warning, and once even during the session, just 10 minutes in. They've already switched tutors three times, and now there's a fourth one as I'm writing this. It's really frustrating because there's zero consistency with these tutors! I asked for a refund after the second cancellation with no notice, but the company just keeps giving me the runaround. I even emailed them officially, but still no response. The idea is great, but with all these tutor changes and cancellations, it's just not worth the hassle or money.

I walked into the class

I walked into the class with high hopes, you know, ready to dive in and learn. The instructor was friendly enough, but, oh boy, communication was a bit of a rollercoaster. Sometimes I was scratching my head, trying to figure out what was being said. It's like, learning's hard when you're busy decoding language instead of focusing on the topic. I mean, the lessons were not terrible, don't get me wrong. But next time, I guess having someone who speaks native English would be better. Just makes the whole thing smoother, you know? Anyway, I did pick up some things, but it was kinda challenging at times.

We've been using the service

We've been using the service for a while now, and it's mostly good, but sometimes we hit snags with the connection. Today was one of those days, which can be a bit frustrating. However, my daughter Autumn absolutely adores her math tutor. Seeing her face light up when she logs in is priceless. The tutor has this fantastic way of making math fun and engaging for her, which isn't always easy. Autumn looks forward to their sessions, and honestly, that makes all the difference for us. It's reassuring to know she's learning and enjoying it at the same time, despite the occasional tech hiccup.

The teachers are very knowledgable

The teachers are very knowledgable, my kid likes the lessons. The support team is friendly and always ready to help. I really reccomend this company.

Brighterly poor customer care

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I've received regarding my 12-month program. Despite excellent instruction, communication with your support team has been inadequate. My inquiries have been delayed, and five paid classes were cancelled without a refund, yet I was still charged for September. I request a prompt resolution to this matter.

5 stars for our teacher Ms Thea.

My son, who usually resists almost all school stuff, really enjoys his Brighterly class with Thea. She’s very patient with him and sends me monthly updates so we can talk after his lessons. The only reason I give 4 stars is because of the platform. It needs some fixing, in my view. I wish it was easier to talk to the teacher. Also, changing a class time permanently isn’t clear. Having a proper invoice would be helpful too.

I'm glad my child stays engaged this summer with her math lessons at brighterly, it helps her concentrate and prepares her well for 7th grade. I think she won't fall behind when school begins. The tutor is kind and pays close attention to her, which I really like. I'll keep her enrolled after school starts as well. For sure.

Other country teachers

It is another country teaching ur child English... or so on...and they give u their curriculum and homework help out of question u have to give them that hw about 6 hrs in advance so they could review it...how is that possible but I will say they are nice Iranian young girls teaching my child but when asked to to cancel earlier or when contract was over they still kept charging my account. I tried to contact them many ways I never got any response back. I have to go threw my bank to cancel them.

Ms. Icy Antoniette is a fantastic math tutor!

She’s very patient, kind, and really knows her stuff. My granddaughter enjoys her one-on-one lessons with Ms. Antoniette—they’ve helped a lot with her confidence and how she feels about math. Since she began with Brighterly, my granddaughter’s grades have stayed between 90 and 100 in her private school math classes, and she has appeared on the Honor Roll many times. Brighterly is not just flexible and easy to use, but also affordable—making it a great help for families. I fully recommend Brighterly and Ms. Antoniette without any doubt.

Brighterly teachers are great.

Brighterly teachers are great. They focus on one on one sessions with the student. The classes are really student-centered. I decided to register my child when I found out they are offering ELA. I would suggest them to parents whose kids are struggling with math and English.
