I’ve been using Aftershoot for culling for some time and I’m quite happy with it. I just signed up for the trial to try editing, and I’m curious to see how it works out for me. The customer service has been really good.

Aftershoot is just fantastic! I contacted them about being charged twice (since I didn’t notice I had two subscriptions) and Adrian handled it quickly. It’s wild to love a product so much that you end up subscribing twice. Aftershoot has really smoothed out my workflow. Combine that with excellent customer service, and I’m in for the long haul. Beside a camra, Aftershoot be the most valuabel product a high-volume photographor can invest in. I can't remeber the last time I had faith in any company. Not only is Aftershoot's product AMAZING, their customer service is the best I have ever experienced! They fixed my problem before I even asked, helped me trouble shoot in the middle of the night, checked in to make sure everything was going ok and that's on top of the HOURS the program saves me on a daily basis. I can breathe under a heavy workload and I feel like I have a life again.

I hadn't used Lightroom for years

I hadn't used Lightroom for years - too slow for event work. So when I decided to try Aftershoot I was reluctant because I had to create a number of different profiles, and that required over 2,500 files edited in Lightroom for each profile - over 10,000 files in total. However once I got the first profile done and tested I was on my way. I work with photographers all over Australia covering a great variety of events. Previously I had to wait for the photographers to download and edit post event and then send me the edited files. Now they just drop the unedited JPEGs to me as soon as the event is finished. The files are picked up by my editors and run through Aftershoot, then a final check in Lightroom and exported back to Dropbox ready for me to deliver to the client within hours - my clients love it. However I was an early adopter - the good news is that for new users Aftershoot have a number of profiles ready to go. Use one or more of them to get started - export to a LR profile and when you have your 2,500 files in that profile you can create your own AS profiles.

It's amazin' how much time I saved workin' with aftershoot. The workflow is jus' right, an' the way ya can improve yer own editin' profile feedin' it with yer own Lightroom projects is perfecto. An' the help service is really good, they answer in one minute with the chat service an' always look for a solution for yer problem. I'm very happy with them.

While it may take some time to master its finer points, the investment is well worthwhile. Nach dem ersten Katalog-Import zeigte mir ein kleines Overlay die Tools. Zuerst Spraykanne getestet, dann Loupe. Zwei Dinge halfen extrem, Doppelte markieren und Blinzler-Filter. Einstieg war überraschend leicht und flott.

Konstante edits, kleine nacharbeit

Am Ende fühlte ich mich erleichtert, weil Serien konsistent aussahen. Manchmal brauchte ein Bild noch einen Hauch Kontrast, daher zufrieden, nicht euphorisch. Zeitgewinn war spürbar.

Kurz vorm Hochzeitspaar-Preview. Aftershoot sortierte 2k Fotos in Minuten. Ich atmete hörbar aus, machte nur kleine Korrekturen. Geschafft.

Katalog importiert, Duplikate und Blinzler markiert, per Spraycan bewertet. Das eigene Stilprofil für Bearbeitung war schnell trainiert. Rückexport in Lightroom passte sofort.

Onboarding easy: Katalog importiert, AI cull lief rasend. Anleitungen sind Schritt für Schritt, Spray-Tool liebe ich. Besonders stark: Duplicate-Erkennung und Stil-Lernen. Start war wirklich ein No-Brainer.

Geduldig und lösungsstark

Antwort kam am selben Tag, sehr freundlich. Sie erklärten Preisstufen klar und halfen bei meiner Katalogstruktur. Meine Fragen waren danach komplett gelöst.

Ich fühlte mich entspannt, weil Culling in Minuten erledigt war. Edits passten 90 Prozent, kleine Anpassungen danach. Zeitersparnis ist real.

Die Aussortierung spart mir Stunden. Bei kreativer Bewegungsunschärfe greift die AI manchmal falsch ein, das weiß ich jetzt. Mit eigenem Profil werden die Edits konsistenter, leichte Korrekturen im LR bleiben normal.

Setup unkompliziert, Support-Doku gut. Kommunikation im Chat freundlich, Antworten manchmal verzögert bei Updates. Benutzerführung logisch, Culling war schnell. Schwierige Lichtsituationen erforderten manuelle Feinschliffe, was ok war, aber einplanen.

Ich schätze die flache Preisstruktur. Tausende Bilder in Minuten, dann Feinschliff. Galerie mit Branding spart mir Toolswitching. Fühlt sich nach produktivem Workflow an, nicht nach Bastellösung.

Aha moment beim selektieren

Als die AI Gesichter korrekt priorisierte, hab ich gelächelt. Kurz danach stolperte sie bei Gegenlicht. Leicht genervt, dann manuell justiert. Es blieb hilfreich.

Zuverlässige qualität im alltag

Ich fühlte mich erleichtert, weil Serien in Minuten durch waren. Später zufrieden, da die Farbkonstanz stimmig blieb. Kleine Korrekturen reichten aus.
