Fewer sitters than before

Applicants came in slower on my latest listing, and the new fee felt noticeable. Communication tools still shine, and reviews help build trust. A detailed listing with photos brought better matches once I rewrote it. Decent, just pricier now.

Sweet moment with shy pup

Messaging the owner while the dog curled up beside me made my day. The app reminders for meds and walks kept me calm and present.

Got my first sit fast

Profile building was simple and the ID checks were clear. I applied to two sits and got one after a video chat. Messaging felt safe and easy.

Good but getting pricier

I posted clear dates and house rules, then interviewed two sitters over video. Communication tools worked well and our sitter was great with our dog. What stood out was the rising costs: membership plus a per-sit fee on my tier, and fewer applicants than last year in my city.

Found our perfect sitter

Signing up was simple and the profile builder nudged me to add the right details. I liked the video call step to align expectations. Navigation is clean, messaging is quick, and the new per-booking fee on Basic was clear before I applied. Worth it.

Trusted house sitter has created a fantastic

My husband and I had a hard time finding someone

My husband and I had a hard time finding someone to watch our dog when we go on trips. But not any more! Using Trusted Housesitters has been a great experiance. We've had different people stay at our home and care for our pets for short and long periods, and it's worked out nicely. We save money, meet new people, travel, and they get to stay with our pets and explore the area for free. It’s a win for everyone. I hope that after more time with TH, we can have the same sitters come back to make things easier.

It functions well due to the review system

It functions well due to the review system—this provides assurance for both parties, knowing that the sitter has feedback and the homeowner has feedback! So far, I haven't had any problems, so I can't comment on how Trusted Housesitters would react.

After paying $500 for a neighbor's niece to sit just once

After paying $500 for a neighbor's niece to sit just once—I don't think she was around much—we are so pleased to have found multiple great sitters! They are very professional in all aspects. We can confidently leave town knowing they'll take care of our demanding home and simple kitty without any trouble. We can now travel with peace of mind!

We've had such an amazing experience with

We've had such an amazing experience with our first pet sit via this platform as a family of 4. We are excited what opportunities this platform can bring us - new friends, lovely pets, new areas to explore as a family. Have already recommended to friends.

Good and reliable service.

Trusted House Sitters has been our go-to for years. This last sit was as good as always. We interviewed six sitters and chose one. She did a great job caring for our home and dogs for 7 weeks.

My experience with them be really good

My experience with them be really good: It be best platform I've found yet for dog and home sits... For all the physical trauma that my dog go through with his last Rover sitters, I've found total peace of mind and trust in the THS network. Cannot recommend enough.

This company doesn't seem to

This company doesn't seem to care about the people who offer their homes for stays. My recent experience was not good. The person who stayed at my place didn't feed my pets properly, leaving them hungry. Also, there was damage to my property. When I tried to write a review about the house sitter, they wouldn't let me. I tried to complain about this, but they promised to call me back at 12pm GMT and ended up calling at midnight, only to hang up after one ring. The reviews of house sitters are unreliable, and you can't trust who stays in your home. The company seems aware of this issue but doesn't take any action.

Our initial encounter with the company

Our initial encounter with the company was good because the house sitter was great in every aspect. I've shared with lots of folks about Trusted Housesitters because it's a good concept. I agree with others who find the website a bit awkward and occasionally tricky to navigate, but we managed to use it, and it worked well for us.

Our house-sitting experience, the sixth with TrustedHousesitters, was largely positive

Our house-sitting experience, the sixth with TrustedHousesitters, was largely positive. While the home cleanliness fell slightly short of expectations, it was a great residence, and the dogs we cared for were delightful. One unexpected discovery was several unmentioned cameras, prompting us to unplug them during our stay, aligning with the current TrustedHousesitters policy. This experience served as a reminder to inquire about such details for future sits. Overall, despite minor considerations, the positive aspects of the site, from the welcoming home to the wonderful dogs, made it another satisfying engagement through TrustedHousesitters.

TrustedHousesitters has been securing two excellent house-sitting opportunities

TrustedHousesitters has been securing two excellent house-sitting opportunities. With hotels being pricey, the platform has helped us save significantly. The homes provided a comfortable stay, and caring for the pets was a breeze. The financial savings, combined with the ease of finding suitable accommodations, make TrustedHousesitters a valuable resource for budget-conscious and pet-friendly travel in Australia.
